NEHS Toy Drive for St. Christopher’s Hospital  November 27th to December 8th

Life can change in a matter of moments.  Unfortunately, many families at St. Christopher’s hospital know this first hand as their children battle Cancer.  NEHS is determined to bring some deserving smiles to this family this holiday season.  Please consider donating to this worthy cause.  Contact Ms. Palmer at with any questions.  

Naiyanna, age 14, girl -  her shoe size is 5.5 Women's and she wears a Women's small.  

Wishes - White Sneakers, painting supplies (large canvases, paint, brushes), makeup kits & nail kits (medium toned hispanic complexion), & sweaters (she likes pink & black).  

Diego, age 8, boy - his shoe size is 4.5 and he wears a 10/12.  

Wishes - small lego kits, red or blue sneakers, & clothes, zip up and/or pull over hoodie sweatshirts & sweaters (his favorite color is navy blue)

NEHS – GRADES 5 and 6

    Renaissance Academy is proud to have an active chapter of the National Elementary Honor Society. The Renaissance Academy Chapter of the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) is a service organization composed of students who excel in scholarship, character, leadership and service. Academically eligible students who meet the membership qualifications may be open to qualified students in grades five and six. The national minimum grade requirement is 85. All five of the following requirements must be considered in the selection process, though the weight that any individual receives is determined by the local Faculty Council: Academics Co-curricular Activities (teams, clubs, musical groups) Leadership Positions Service Activities Other Community Activities (Boy or Girl Scouts, religious groups) NEHS Advisors: Mrs. Laura Meyer and Ms. Jen Palmer

    Key Dates:

    September: Students who meet the criteria listed above are invited to fill out a Candidate Form.  The Candidate Form is due back to the advisers two weeks after they receive it. The faculty council selects members and notification is made to parents.

    September: Induction Ceremony
