Thank you for your interest in enrollment in the Renaissance Academy Charter School for the 2021-2022 School Year!
Renaissance Academy's enrollment is a lottery process. This application process relates to the lottery for the 2021-2022 school year. Please keep in mind that this does NOT guarantee a space for your child, but rather begins the enrollment process to place your child in the 2021-2022 school year lottery.
*The deadline to apply for the 2021-2022 school year lottery has passed. If there is not space in the requested grade level, new applications will be placed at the end of the waitlist
Enrollment Process**
Step 1: Complete the Enrollment Interest Form (below)
Step 2: Complete the Online Enrollment Application*
After you have submitted the Enrollment Interest Form, you will be redirected to the Online Enrollment Application.
*Deadline: The Online Enrollment Application must have been submitted by November 24, 2020 by 11:59 PM EST. to be considered for a meeting for the 2021-2022 lottery.
Step 3: Enrollment Meeting*
Once the Online Enrollment Application form is received, you will be contacted by the Enrollment Coordinator to schedule a time to come into school and complete the final steps of the enrollment application process.
*Deadline: Meeting with Enrollment Coordinator, along with all paperwork requested, must have been complete and submitted by Friday, December 18, 2020 by 11:59 PM EST. (Any paperwork that comes in after this date will be considered late and will not be placed in the lottery)
**Please note that, in alignment with our Board Policy, any applications that come in after the lottery deadline (including those that are considered to be "a preference") will be placed at the back of the wait list for the applicable grade level. No exceptions can be made.
Lottery Date:
The Enrollment Lottery for the Renaissance Academy 2021-2022 school year will be performed on January 26th, 2021, 9:00 am EST.
Lottery notification will be emailed (to the primary email address provided by the applicant) by Friday, February 5th, 2021. Your letter will include notification of acceptance OR the number that your child was placed on the wait list. Please note if your child is wait-listed, they will stay active on the 2021-2022 wait list until the end of the 2021-2022 school year. To enter the lottery for the 2022-2023 school year, you will need to re-apply.
