The clinic, which was run by the 2016-2017 Varsity Cheerleading squad and their Coach Ms. Naomi Siedlecki, was attended by fifteen 5th and 6th grade girls who came out for a day of team building and exercise. They were also taught a dance and a cheer which they will be performing at the 1st-6th grade PSSA PEP Rally on Friday, March 31st, 2017.

The clinic was designed by Coach Siedlecki to introduce athletic activities offered in our upper school to our younger students. “We are a K-12 school with two buildings that break up our Lower School and Upper School. This is a great way to transition those students into our Upper School for the next year. "As a cheerleading coach, it is extremely important that my squad learns about giving back and is taught how to be a strong female leader. My cheerleaders donated their Saturday to leading a clinic for our 5th and 6th grade girls that signed up.” Varsity Cheerleaders who let the clinic included Grace Grenier (Asst. Captain), Lyra Stubbs (Captain), Elondra Stubbs (Captain), Evelyn Capobianco, Hannah Simon, and Riley Strouse

The Jr. Cheerleaders were given a bag that included a shirt, a bow, a participation certificate, and treats. The Varsity Squad (aka "Jr. Coaches") designed the schedule for the day, the team building activities, stretch routine, and the cheer and dance routines. They created signs of encouragement that hang in our gym and assembled bags for the girls. About the event, Coach Siedlecki said, “The varsity cheerleaders set up, broke down and did everything in between. My girls continue to impress me and tears of pride rolled down my face watching these girls empower the Jr. Cheerleaders."
