Star Student of the Week

Congratulations to our star student this week, Mason! Mason is a hard worker and loves to help others! He's respectful, compassionate, and honest. He loves to share his outside knowledge of special holidays and people with our class. Way to go Mason!

Homebase Announcements:
  • .Mental  Health Mondays
  • May 20th - Wear a yellow or black shirt with school bottoms.  Black and Yellow are the colors that represent the Aevidum Club.  Remember, somebody always has your back!
  • Field Day: Field Day is Thursday, May 23rd! Be on the look out in the next few weeks to find out what team your child is on. Field Day is one of our favorite days to celebrate fitness and fun! 
  • House Cup Ceremony: Friday, May 24th from 8:45-9:45am. We will watch the celebration and presentation of the house cup via live stream. (Mrs. Wheeles will not be here that day!)
  • Camden Aquarium Field Trip: (Friday, May 31st) We still have room for more chaperones. If you are still interested, please let me know. 

  • Shakespeare End of Year Party: Students in First and Second Grade will have an End of Year party! The flyer was sent home last week. The $6.50 covers the cost of your child's lunch. All other costs for the end of the year party like the moon bounce, water slide, crafts, etc. are paid for from the Royal Ball profits. 
  • End of Trimester Celebration: For students who have not been suspended, they get to celebrate by going on a walking trip to the Colonial Movie Theater! Permission slips were sent home last week! The cost is $5. 

  • Father's Day Celebration: An email was sent with information to sign up for our Father's Day Celebration. We hope you can make it
  • I will be placing one last book order for Scholastic Book Clubs on June 1st. Please let me know if you are interested. Our class code is GLT7G. 

Classroom General Information

  • There are no formal Mystery Reader sign ups in first grade. If you are interested in being a mystery reader, I would love to have you! Please reach out! I'm happy to make it work!
