Star Student of the Week

Congratulations to our star student this week, Caleb. Caleb used compassion over winter break taking care of our hamster Chocolate. I'm really proud of the improvements that Caleb is showing in school too. Way to go Caleb! 

Science/Social Studies:

What are we learning about this week?
We will present our social studies projects. On Thursday, we will kick off our new science unit, Earth's Materials. We will also learn about natural resources. 

Homework:
A homework project are due on Monday, 1/13 and we will present them Monday-Wednesday.

Things to practice at home: When your child is reading to you, stop them at the end of each page/paragraph and ask them to retell what it was about. Make sure they answer in complete sentences with details.
