Star Student of the Week

Congratulations to our star student this week, Vivienne! Vivienne is a friend to everyone and has a passion for helping others and animals. Vivienne is a model when it comes to the core values. Keep up the great work! 

Science/Social Studies:

The students will review for our test on Monday and then take their final test in science on Tuesday. We will work on our Father's Day crafts, as well as learn about animals.

Homebase Announcements:
  • Field Trip: We had SO much fun on field day! Thank you to the parents that were able to join us for our fun filled day! We are so gracious to have so many chaperones! 
  • Shakespeare End of Year Party: Students in First and Second Grade will have an End of Year party! The flyer was sent home last week. The $6.50 covers the cost of your child's lunch. All other costs for the end of the year party like the moon bounce, water slide, crafts, etc. are paid for from the Royal Ball profits. 
  • End of Trimester Celebration: For students who have not been suspended, they get to celebrate by going on a walking trip to the Colonial Movie Theater! Permission slips were sent home last week! The cost is $5. Chaperones are FREE so the more the merrier! 

  • Father's Day Celebration: Our Father's Day Celebration is Tuesday, June 11th from 2:45-3:15pm.  We hope you can make it! If you would like to attend, please RSVP by clicking on the Father's Day Link.
  • Third Trimester Awards Assembly: If your child has not received an award, then it's their turn! Please be on the look out if your child is receiving an award from me and please make sure to keep it a secret! If you would like to attend, please rsvp by going to this link: 3rd Trimester Awards Assembly.

Classroom General Information

  • Please make sure to keep your child's chairpack for next year. It will be sent home on Wednesday, June 12th, along with other materials like their workbooks. Feel free to have students do any missed pages or pages we didn't get to over the summer. 
  • Class Supply Lists are out! Make sure to check out the materials needed for 2nd grade!
