RA Intramural Sports

Renaissance Academy offers a co-ed intramural sports program for students in grades 4-6.  There will be three intramural programs (Fall and Winter) with four sessions during each program.  We hope this program will offer our Lower School Students the opportunity to learn basic sports skills in a fun and competitive environment as well as to receive the activity they need to lead a healthy life.

Other important information:

  • Each session will take place from 3:30-5:30pm.  Pick up will be at the front of the Upper School building.
  • Each student interested in participating must complete a Parent Permission Form and submit it, along with the fee of $20/student, to the Athletic Director, Kevin Zvorsky.
  • Each intramural program will have a limit (30) to the amount of students that may participate.  If more participants sign up than we can allow, a random drawing will occur to determine the students that may participate in the session.
  • A list of student’s that were chosen will contacted through email with the necessary information
  • Any student’s not selected will have their $20 fee returned.  Cash or Check is accepted.  Please make check’s out to “Renaissance Academy Charter School”.
  • All 4th-6th grade students participating will not be split up during the sessions.  Coaches may choose to separate the students as they see fit during specific activities or games but all students will be together on the same field/court.
  • If a 6th grader is a member of a Renaissance Academy sports team, then they will not be permitted to participate in the intramural program.  Example – a 6th grader on the Middle School Cross Country team may not participate in the Fall Intramural program.

Attire/Equipment:

  • Sneakers (required)
  • Cleats and shin guards recommended (soccer only)
  • athletic shorts/sweatpants (recommended)
  • water bottle
