PHOENIXVILLE, PA – On Friday, May 2nd, 2014, the RA Junior Academy held its annual Eighth Grade Formal.  Dressed in their most elegant dresses and debonair attire, the young ladies and gentlemen of the Renaissance Academy (RA) 8th grade danced the night away.

This is a long treasured tradition at Renaissance Academy which signifies an end of middle school for the students and the commencement of their high school years.  Julie Green, middle school math teacher and one of the organizers of the dance said, “The Eighth Grade Formal is a memorable and special event for the eighth grade students. They look forward to it all year and this year it definitely lived up to their expectations!”

Eighth grader, Natalie Dekok said that she really liked the music at the dance and had a great time getting the opportunity to “hang out with her friends.”  Natalie is looking forward to her high school years at Renaissance and is excited about the fine arts choices she will have in senior high.
