PHOENIXVILLE, PA --- At a ceremony on October 14th, Renaissance Academy was proud to induct 36 middle school students into the 2014-2015 National Junior Honor Society.  The National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is a non-profit organization consisting of academically strong students, from grades 7th through 9th, with the capacity for leadership and service.  The group strives to help their community and school.  NJHS also teaches student responsibility, teamwork, and leadership by giving students the opportunity to work collaboratively to help others. 

The following students became members of the Renaissance Academy NJHS: Aiden Bailey, Jeffrey Cocci, Cameron Diaz, Aria Dopwell, Julia Duchossois, Juliana Escobar, Alicia Garcia, Kayleigh Gehring, Morgan Gidney, Daniel Guevin, Kathryn Guevin, Alexa Hartman, Carolyn Higgins, Samantha Hutchins,  Kaitlin Irby, Houston Jarvis, Madison Kerper, Jalen Lee, Carson McLaughlin, Caleb Miller, Rose Newmiller, Max Olstad, Ethan Ortner, Aliyah Quill, Erin Robbins, AbuBakr Sangare, Trevor Schmidt, Morgan Seward, Daniel So, Siddarth Srinivasan, Lilly Urkuski, Pavithra Vinnakota, Alexander Waskiewicz, Cassandra Waskiewicz, Jeremy Wenger, and Jordan Williams.

The co-advisors for the Renaissance Academy NJHS are Mrs. Kelly Najdawi and Mr. Brian Tell.  About the inductees, Mr. Tell said, “We have a wonderful group of students this year who truly value their academics.  This group is already implementing community and school plans and initiatives.  Their drive and determination is impressive and certainly representative of our school and the NJHS purpose.”
