Enrollment Information for Next School Year - 2022-2023

Renaissance Academy's enrollment is a lottery process.

This application process relates to the lottery for the 2022-2023 school year. Please keep in mind that this does NOT guarantee a space for your child, but rather begins the enrollment process to place your child in the 2022-2023 school year lottery.

Enrollment Process**

Step 1: Complete the Enrollment Interest Form  (Form Below)

Step 2: Complete the Online Enrollment Application*

After you have submitted the Enrollment Interest Form, you will be redirected to the Online Enrollment Application.

*Deadline: The Online Enrollment Application must have been submitted and complete with all required attachments by December 10, 2021 by 11:59 PM EST to be placed in the lottery for the 2022-2023 school year. (NEXT YEAR)

You can still apply after the lottery deadline has passed for the 2022-2023 school year. If there are no openings in the requested grade level, new applications will be placed at the end of the waitlist for that grade. As withdrawals occur spaces will be filled using the wait list for that specific grade level.

Step 3: Enrollment Meeting*

Once the Online Enrollment Application form is received, you will be contacted by the Enrollment Coordinator to schedule a time to virtually meet and complete the final steps of the enrollment application process and to answer any questions about RACS.

*Deadline: Meeting with Enrollment Coordinator, along with all paperwork requested, must have been completed and submitted by Friday, December 17, 2021 by 11:59 PM EST. (Any paperwork that comes in after this date will be considered late and will not be placed in the lottery but will be considered for placement on the waitlist)

**Please note that, in alignment with our Board Policy, any applications that come in after the lottery deadline (including those that are considered to be "a preference") will be placed at the back of the waitlist for the applicable grade level. No exceptions can be made.

Lottery Date:

The Enrollment Lottery for the Renaissance Academy 2022-2023 school year will be performed on January 27, 2022 at 9:00 am EST.

Lottery notifications will be emailed (to the primary email address provided by the applicant). Letters included notification of acceptance OR the number that students were placed on the waitlist. Please note if your child is wait-listed, they will stay active on the 2022-2023 wait list until the end of the 2022-2023 school year. To enter the lottery for the 2023-2024 school year, you will need to re-apply.

Enrollment Application Request for the 2022-2023 School Year*

After you Submit this Form***:

You will receive a Confirmation Email. Please follow the included link to complete the 2022-2023 Application.

***Please note, this is a form is a request to schedule a meeting to complete the application process for our lottery for the 2022-2023 school year. This does NOT guarantee a space for your child this starts the enrollment process to be placed in our lottery.


Enrollment Meeting:

You will be contacted by the enrollment coordinator with a scheduled time to come in and complete the Enrollment Application Process. Once the meeting is complete and all items are turned in you will receive a confirmation for your child to be entered into the lottery.

Items you are required to bring with you for your meeting include:

  • A Copy of Your Child’s Birth Certificate (state issued)
  • Two Different PA Proof of Residency Items that match address completed on application:ā€‹
    • One of the following: deed, current: lease or mortgage statement, HUD settlement sheet  +
    • along with one of the following: PA Driver’s License/PA state ID, Utility Bill: electric, water, sewer, cable, or tax billā€‹
  • A Copy of Your Child’s Most Recent Immunization Record

We will no longer accept e-mailed, mailed or faxed applications.
