Today marked a pivotal moment for 8th-12th grade Knights at Renaissance Academy as they delved into the world of financial literacy at the Financial Reality Fair. Teaming up with TruMark Financial Credit Union, students embarked on a journey to master the fundamentals of budgeting.
The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as students navigated through 14 interactive booths, each manned by enthusiastic volunteers eager to impart their wisdom on various aspects of budgeting. From essentials like housing, utilities, and transportation to lifestyle choices including clothing, food, technology, entertainment, travel, and beauty & wellness, every facet of financial management was covered.
Students left the Reality Fair armed with newfound knowledge, hands-on experience, and a sense of empowerment, prepared for their first step on a journey towards financial independence and security.
