Families, advisors Lynda Leonetti, Lauren Prisco, Patrick Bortel, Diana Kelly, and Eileen Keller, and members of the RA administration gathered to celebrate a group of students who continue to raise the bar for academic excellence and leadership at Renaissance Academy.
The ceremony was led in part by current Honor Society members, who guided the candle-lighting tradition while speaking about the five pillars that define the Honor Society experience: Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Citizenship, and Character. Their words created a powerful moment of reflection and pride as each candle brightened the room.
Established in 2008, the National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) recognizes students who excel academically and demonstrate reliability and responsibility in their daily choices. Members are encouraged to make meaningful contributions to both their school and local communities.
The National Honor Society (NHS) and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) continue to stand as two of the nation’s most respected organizations for high-achieving students. These programs highlight individuals who consistently demonstrate the highest standards in Scholarship, Leadership, Service, Citizenship, and Character. These pillars have been the foundation of the organizations for more than 100 years.
The advisors and staff at Renaissance Academy are excited to support this year’s inductees as they step into new roles, lead by example, and continue strengthening our community through service and dedication.
Congratulations to all of this year’s Honor Society members. RA is proud of your accomplishments and looks forward to the positive impact you will make as leaders of our Knight community.
