Good evening families, 

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend as we prepare to welcome our students back to campus tomorrow morning by 8:00 AM.

As a reminder, Mr. Taylor Harris, our former Middle School Dean of Students, completed his last day with us on Friday, October 17th. We thank Mr. Harris for his dedication and service to our students and families, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.

At the same time, we are excited to congratulate and welcome Mr. Dennis Strong, who will serve as our new Middle School Dean of Students. Mr. Strong brings a wealth of experience supporting students through conflict resolution and restorative practices. His background includes developing restorative justice curriculum and circles, maintaining strong communication with parents and staff, fostering a positive school climate, and promoting respectful and collaborative relationships among students and families. He has also been a champion of positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) to uphold a culture of respect and accountability.

We are thrilled to have Mr. Strong join our administrative team. He can be reached at dennis.strong@rak12.org for any questions or communication moving forward.

Lastly, please note that our Middle School Handbook for the 2025–2026 school year will be updated to reflect Mr. Strong’s contact information regarding any matters related to school culture and expectations by the end of this week.
