Good Afternoon — 

Given the ongoing weather conditions, we have received notice from the majority of our schools that district transportation will not operate on Monday, January 26, 2026. 

Renaissance will use one of our PDE-approved FID allotments to maintain the required instructional hours for the school year. 

If you have a student in Grades K-4, please have them complete the work that was sent home by their teachers. Completed work will be turned in when they return to school to account for their attendance. 

If you have a student in Grades 5-12, they will have synchronous classes, BUT will follow the WEDNESDAY ERD SCHEDULE.

Please note that we are aware that in some homes, the weather may present connectivity or accessibility challenges. If a student is unable to attend class or complete work, it will be considered an absence from school and will not result in any penalty. If you are able to use Skyward to indicate your child's absence, please do so! 

If you need to reach anyone at the school, please try sending an email.  Offices will be closed on January 26th. 

If you have a meeting scheduled with a staff member, they will confirm whether it will take place virtually or if they need to reschedule with you. 

There will be no activities before or after school on January 26th. 

We will use this same means to communicate any updates or changes if they are needed. We will communicate plans for Tuesday, January 27th, as soon as we are able to do so.
