Good Evening — 

Given the ongoing weather conditions, we have received notice that the majority of our students will not have district transportation on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. 

Renaissance will use one of our PDE-approved FID allotments to maintain the required instructional hours for the school year. We will follow the same schedule as Monday, January 26th. 

If you have a student in Grades K-4, please have them complete the work that was sent home by their teachers. Completed work will be turned in when they return to school to account for their attendance. 

If you have a student in Grades 5-12, they will have synchronous classes, BUT will follow the WEDNESDAY ERD SCHEDULE.

Please note that we are aware that in some homes, the weather may present connectivity or accessibility challenges. If a student is unable to attend class or complete work, it will be considered an absence from school and will not result in any penalty. If you are able to use Skyward to indicate your child's absence, please do so! 

If you need to reach anyone at the school, please try sending an email.  Offices will be closed on January 27th. 

If you have a meeting scheduled with a staff member, they will confirm whether it will take place virtually or if they need to reschedule with you. 

There will be no school activities before or after school on January 27th. 

If your child participates in a non-RA activity after school, the organizers for that activity may communicate their own plans for the evening of January 27th. Please verify before traveling to the school. 

We will use the same means to communicate any updates or changes if needed.
