As a part of our student technology setup, Renaissance Academy offers an insurance program for all students that will help protect their Chromebooks and lower the cost of any repairs or replacements that may need to be done.
The registration period starts when you receive this message and ends two months into the new school year. This program can be paid for at any time during that period. After the registration window closes, any repairs or replacements for unregistered students will be charged at full cost.
The registration cost is $30 per school year, or $15 for students who receive Free or Reduced Lunch, and it will only cover the 2025–2026 school year. Once your student is registered, any repairs or replacements will require a $10 claim fee to be filed and paid. Each additional claim will increase by $10 per incident.
Additionally, to ensure the safety and longevity of student laptops, we’re enforcing the use of laptop cases this upcoming year. These cases are essential in preventing accidental damage. If a laptop is found to be damaged and it’s determined that it wasn’t inside its case at the time of the incident, anadditional $25 fee will be applied to the repair cost. This policy is in place to encourage the proper handling of equipment and reduce unnecessary damage.

- Laptop Case
- USB-C Charger
