Hello Middle School Families,
We look forward to meeting you all tomorrow, September 11th. As a reminder, Academy Night will take place from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. We will begin promptly in the cafeteria.
Reminders: When you arrive, please park in the front parking lot and enter through the bottom stairs leading to the gym. Once inside, you’ll receive the evening’s schedule and be directed to the cafeteria for a short welcome message. Remember to know your child’s Homebase teacher's name. Families of 7th & 8th graders will follow an “A” day schedule, while 5th & 6th grade families will begin with Block 1. In each classroom, you’ll meet teachers and hear a brief overview of class expectations.
Just to note:Please note that tomorrow evening is dedicated to getting to know your child's teachers, the courses of study, and basic expectations for class. This event is not the appropriate time to ask individual questions about SDIs, IEPs, 504s, etc. You will discuss those during SLCs in October.
Lastly, if you arrive after the welcome message in the cafeteria, head directly to your child’s homebase classroom to pick up their schedules.
